I know this has been brought up before, but places are always opening or closing and/or changing their policies/culture.
I would like a place that is relatively quiet, preferably in a nice area maybe even with a view, that is indoors, where I don't have to pay a huge amount (I'm a student), and where I don't feel as though I'm not wanted there.
Libraries, cafes.. I'm open to new interesting suggestions as well.
I know I'm asking a lot, and I don't need everything, but I wanted to put the...

There's an event which I have a valid ticket for, but I can't attend. And if I don't attend I don't get the digital goodiebag. Get my ticket validated. PM me if you're interested, I'll even pay upfront. The event is today and ends at 5PM PDT.submitted by /u/bi_a_op
As the title says looking for a furniture store near Costa Mesa/Newport/Tustin/Santa Ana that has some great deals in furniture. Young couple moving to a home, don't have super high expectations/ standards in what's available but want some solid stuff that's not wal mart stuff that will implode in 6 months.submitted by /u/blazelate
I recently started playing with some co-workers and bought some cards, however, none of my friends play or are interested! So I guess I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to drink some beer and play some cards.
Just thought I'd throw it out there since I ain't got shit going on today. Ha.submitted by /u/rfuller924

There's and event today in Santa Ana which I can't attend. But I would still wish for my ticket to be validated as that would get me some digital goods as a reward in the game I play. If you want to attend this event, or want to bring the ticket for me just to be a pal I'll be happy to pay you to do so.submitted by /u/bi_a_op
So the semester is ending and I'm looking for a job once again. I've worked in a few restaurants in the past but I would say that my experience is still very minimal. Any suggestions?submitted by /u/tpham1206
I'm hearing some strange booms and rumbles around the area, anyone else hear them too or know what they are?submitted by /u/MyobiEvangel
Hi there! I work at OCC and we are currently renewing our libraries collection of books. We have a plan for the old textbooks, but after our used books sale that leaves us with 4,000 of fiction and non-fiction books we would like to donate to a program that supports literacy.
We can transport the books ourselves within Orange County, but we cannot cover the cost of shipping if it is outside Orange County.
We do not want them to end up in a landfill, so trashing them is out of the...
Hi OC, having a hard time with this one. Im looking to get a small office/warehouse flex space but havent and all my direct inquiries have this far been in vain as it appears that the agents who list properties for lease only will speak to you if you are an agent as well.
Anyone know a good agent or broker for commercial properties?submitted by /u/Rennz

I'd rather not go Goodwill. This is the item in question, size M in navy. It's a really nice parka but the hood is too big. It is rather heavy./u/ayvyns
I've never really been into marijuana, I would tend to have very paranoid thoughts and found it more stressful than relaxing. Since prop 64 passed I've been doing some learning about strains that are high in CBD and I'm interested in trying it out to help with some pain and anxiety issues. I kind of need a place where I can go and talk to someone though, can anyone recommend a prop 64 complaint dispensary in the Irvine area?submitted by /u/stfu_bobcostas
Just recently moved from Anaheim to Santa Fe Springs. Area is nice, the only thing is it seems like depending who is conducting the train depends who loud and long they sustain the train's horn. I get it, the horn is needed for safety and what not, but it's so frustrating on how loud and long the train horn last. Does anyone have suggestions on what can I do? Can I make a noise complaint to the city, if so to who and what office? Any suggestion is appreciated.submitted by ...
Does anybody know what they have been doing in the area where we used to use as a dog beach where santa ana river meets the ocean? They have been filling it up with sand and framing it with rocks. What will they do there?submitted by /u/softredditwarmreddit
