Zodiac signs are not a “traditional sign of birth” of a pope, according to the pontiff, who described the sign as a “natural and indispensable” sign that has no other meaning in the Catholic Church.

He was speaking at a conference at the Vatican on Sunday marking the 100th anniversary of the publication of the Magisterium of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Europe, where the pontiffs’ magisterium was promulgated in 1496.

The pontiff also said that zodiac sign birthdays are “a sign of a new and unique age” that will “change the face of the world”.

The cardinal said the zodiac represents the “perfect and universal” balance of the elements, the sun, the moon, the planets and the sun-Earth system, which is the foundation of all life.

“The sign of the zebra represents the balance of nature and the elements,” he said.

“The zodiac has no sign in any other order.

It’s like a living organism.

The signs that it represents are very natural.”

The cardinal made the comment on the 100-year anniversary of his publication of Magisteria.

“It’s very good news that the sign of Aquarius is not only celebrated on birthdays but also on the anniversary of its promulgation.

It will change the face, and the life, of our planet, and this is a sign of that,” he told the audience.

Zodiac signs represent the “great balance” of the “two opposite forces”, the sun and the moon.

“I hope this will be a great sign of life and progress,” he added.

The cardinal also praised the “revolutionary” work of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the pope’s former cardinal.

He said that “the pope has been the great leader of the church” and called him “a true prophet”.

“It is with great joy that I come to tell you of the great transformation that has taken place in the world and in our churches.

This is a great and remarkable movement, an example of the love of God and the spirit of the age,” the cardinal said.

Pope Francis has also urged his flock to be “more attentive” to the signs.

“We must not give in to the temptation of the signs of our time, because we cannot count on the future.

We must watch for signs that will bring us a better life.

If a sign is good, then we will see it everywhere,” he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press news agency.
